Award winning lifestyle hotel operators Malmaison and Hotel du Vin Hotels recently completed the pilot implementation of Xn Hotels’ dotPOS Enterprise in their 4 newest properties (Malmaison Reading, Hotel du Vin Cheltenham, Hotel du Vin Cambridge and Hotel du Vin York). The group now plans to install the system in its existing estate, with a rollout to 11 further properties under way.

Key criteria in the selection process included true, centralised estate management and reporting whilst retaining local resilience, an interface to the Opera v3 PMS and 2-way integration with Fourth Hospitality’s FnB Shop stock application. In addition to the export of sales from dotPOS, FnB Shop also acts as the product master, automatically populating the dotPOS item database and generating panels on the POS terminals.
