Xn Hotels recently announced the completion of 2-way interfaces from its Xn globalRES distribution connectivity solution to Booking.com and Expedia.com.

Developed and supported by Xn Hotel Systems in response to demand from our customers, Xn globalRES provides an integrated electronic reservation management solution. In addition to selected Internet Distribution System (IDS) channels, Xn globalRES includes “next generation seamless” connectivity to all 4 Global Distribution Systems (GDS), via the Wizcom distribution switch (migrating to Pegasus April 2008) and a fully customisable, private label Web Booking System (WBS). Distribution and management of all connected electronic channels may be managed from within one portal console.

Xn globalRES offers 2-way integration with the Protel PMS/CRS for more seamless end-to-end connectivity and management. In addition to offering a lower transaction cost base compared to traditional rep companies, significant reductions in labour/effort, immediate rate publication and parity control of rate across all channels are amongst the core benefits being targeted by the service.

System integration to and from Xn globalRES is supported via an OTA-compliant specification.
